Overview

The Pathology Department at East Hospital boasts a history spanning over a century, closely intertwined with the hospitals development. In 2014, marking a milestone in healthcare cooperation, the Sino-German East Virchow Joint Pathology Research Institute was established through collaborative efforts between the Sino-German Health Organization. Led by Professor Manfred Dietel, chairperson of the Sino-German Health Organization, and Director of the Pathology Research Institute of Charité Hospital in Germany, alongside Executive Director Dr. GAO Jinli, the institute was established with a commitment to upholding the German Virchow brand management standards.
