Overview
The Gynecology Department (South Campus), led by renowned obstetrics and gynecology expert Professor DUAN Tao, integrates resources from gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, and ultrasound. As a standardized training base for obstetrics and gynecology residents under the Ministry of Health, a drug research base for obstetrics and gynecology of the National Medical Products Administration, and a fourth-level laparoscopic training base of the Ministry of Health, our department leverages high-level technical talent, collaborative interdisciplinary teams, advanced medical equipment, and an integrated patient-centered service model to build a distinctive center for obstetrics and gynecology diagnosis and treatment, combining medical care, education, and research.
Expert Team
Led by Director WANG Jianjun, who studied under renowned pelvic floor expert Professor TONG Xiaowen, our team has nearly 15 years of experience in pelvic floor surgeries, focusing on both basic and clinical research in this field. Our expert team includes 5 chief physicians, 6 associate chief physicians, 3 PhD tutors, and 5 master tutors, all known for their proficient medical skills and high-quality services.
Services
Our center comprises four major disciplines (gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, and ultrasound) and currently provides over 100 beds. Our department specializes in pelvic floor repair and reconstruction, reproductive surgery, and comprehensive treatment of malignant tumors. In the field of pelvic floor disorders and intimate aesthetic medicine, we have established a distinguished Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Center. We perform surgeries and rehabilitation treatments for pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence, and offer intimate aesthetic surgeries such as vaginal tightening, labiaplasty, and hymen reconstruction. Non-surgical treatments include physical laser therapy and pelvic floor functional rehabilitation training.
Reproductive surgery is a significant specialty of our department, offering corrective surgeries for reproductive tract anomalies, laparoscopic cervical cerclage for cervical insufficiency, and various laparoscopic surgeries. In collaboration with the East Obstetrics and Gynecology Center, the Reproductive Center, and the Obstetrics Department, We help patients become parents by offering complete support from pre-pregnancy consultations to the actual childbirth process.
Research & Innovation
We have long been engaged in basic and clinical research on gynecological tumors, excelling in comprehensive treatments such as surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and biological therapy, along with standardized follow-up. Emphasizing the integration of production, study, and research, we stay at the forefront of international advancements and conduct personalized precision treatments and research in the field of biological therapy for gynecological tumors.
