Overview
The North Campus of the Oncology Department is led by Professor DONG Chunyan, the academic leader and department director. We provide comprehensive management and support throughout the treatment and follow-up of patients with tumors and hematologic system diseases. We offer a wide array of treatment strategies and cutting-edge technologies, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, vascular intervention and embolization treatment, radioactive particle implantation for lung and liver metastases, radiofrequency ablation, mediport placement, tumor biopsy, and high-frequency thermal therapy.
Expert Team
The North Campus of the Oncology Department boasts a team of 8 physicians, including esteemed professionals such as a professor, a chief physician, and associate chief physicians. With dedicated PhD tutors and master tutors among the staff, we collaborate with esteemed institutions such as Tongji University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, actively contributing to the training of postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and master students.
The North Campus of the Oncology Department comprises 8 physicians, including 1 professor, 1 chief physician, 3 associate chief physicians, 1 attending physician, and 3 resident physicians with 1 PhD tutor and 3 master tutors among them. With two principal investigators (PI), the department collaborates with Tongji University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and currently trains 2 postdoctoral researchers, over 10 PhD students and 10 master students.
Honors & Commitments
The North Campus have established university-industry cooperation platforms for tumor vaccines research and nanomedical engineering cooperative transformation. With nearly 30 ongoing research projects at various levels, we have garnered recognition through multiple awards, including the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Shanghai, medical science and technology awards, and the Shanghai Medical Tree Award.
