Overview

Established in 2001, the Rheumatology and Immunology Department is a specialized institution that integrates medical care, education, and research. As a designated training base for PhD and masters degrees in rheumatology, the department is also deeply involved in undergraduate teaching and standardized residency training.

Expert Team

Our department is staffed by a highly experienced and skilled team of 6 professionals, including 4 with PhD degrees and 2 with masters degrees. Our leaders bring extensive overseas study experience, hold positions in various domestic academic associations, and have a wealth of experience in hosting national rheumatology academic conferences.

Services

The department is equipped to handle a wide range of clinical diagnoses and treatments for rheumatic and immunological diseases. We also provide consultations for complex cases and pioneer new technologies in the field, including labial gland biopsy and skin biopsy.

Clinical Specialty

Our diagnostic and therapeutic expertise spans a variety of rheumatic and immunological conditions, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, sicca syndrome, connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease, Behcets disease, gout, vasculitis, and dermatomyositis.
